Workshop Schedule:
May 3 - 5: Ari continues his workshops at Dance with Joy and Portland Dance Eclectic. Join us to explore the fusion of different dance styles and techniques.
May 4: Don't miss a special evening at Blues Eclectic dance at Norse Hall, where Ari will lead the pre-dance lesson and co-DJ the night away.
May 6: Wrap up the week with Ari at the Monday Dance at Lenora’s Ballroom, where he will host the pre-dance lesson.

- 8:00 PM - NightClub 2-Step & Salsa Fusion: Learn how the sultry movements of Salsa can enhance the smooth style of NightClub 2-Step in this innovative fusion workshop.

10:30 Lesson: Blues Fusion
In this playful pre-dance all-levels lesson, learn how the newest dance genre of “fusion” takes many of the core concepts and stylings from blues and then opens the door for even more creativity, improvisation, partner-play, and musicality. All are welcome. No knowledge of blues or fusion is necessary.

Fusion, often associated with Blues takes on a new meaning as Ari breaks it down to Micro, Macro and blended styling--ie. latin-waltz, swing, salsa-blues.
