The Black and White Ball at Director Park on Saturday, July 27, 2019 and the Encore Ball on August 24, 7:00pm to 10pm
Dancing under the stars in Downtown Portland Since 2010, Portland Dance Eclectic has been sponsoring dances at Director Park in the heart of Portland. A few blocks from Pioneer Square, Director Park is a public piazza that provides an elegant, clean, safe, and versatile space that is actively programmed to complement downtown, support arts and culture and, with our portable dance floor, a perfect place to dance on a summer evening.
SW Park and Yamhill
Portland Dance Eclectic presents two dances this summer at Director Park, SW Yamhill and Park
Dance to mix of contemporary dance styles: a number of varieties waltz and waltz tempos, swing both east and west coast, two steps, and latin on a high quality portable wood portable floor
Due to popular demand tickets for both events will be available online. Attendance to both dances will be limited to provide for comfortable dancing and lead/follow balancing. You can cancel tickets for the ball up to seven days before the event and receive a full refund, a $10 service will be charged for cancellations between seven and two days before the event. No refunds for cancellations after two days before the event. The tickets are not transferable to anyone else due to having wait lists.
If there is a threat of rain you will be notified of the status of the dance through email and the website.
The Black and White Ball is our annual Summer dance where dancers are strongly encouraged to wear black and/or white.

This year's Encore Ball will be on Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 7pm to 10pm. Bring out your summer colors for this dance.
